An accomplished and awarded Director and DP, Los Angeles based Mike Miller is passionate about his craft.
Mike loves to make beautiful images. He sees the DP's role as an extension of the director and a vital part of the process of bringing a script to life. This informs his work as a director and he understands the role all the parts play in the storytelling.
Mike's commercials can best be described as mini-movies. From subtle humor to drama and action, with his many years of experience and a great feel for casting, Mike is a Director/DP able to deliver a rare combination of beautiful images, visual storytelling and great performances.
His list of major international clients includes Citibank, Avis, Ford, Qantas, United Airlines, Sony, Philips, Epson, Norwich Union and The Los Angeles Times, as well as pro-bono work for The Salvation Army and Amnesty International.
Mike's work has consistently won awards at a long list of the world's major award shows, including a Gold Lion at The Cannes Film Festival, Silver World Medals at The New York Festivals, Gold at The Australian Cinematographers Society (NSW) and 'Official Selection' at The Sundance Film Festival.
